Kyoto 7th,
Japan 2017-2018
After a long morning walk, I arrive to the Kyoto Botanical Gardens. Half of the gardens are just dry and empty. But what is left it is worth a visit even in December. And this is not even the best of the day.
I go back to the hotel walking from the garden. I enjoy the promenade along the river. The promenade is not as elaborate or has as many amenities as they usually have in Europe, but it is a fantastic place taking into account the relationship of Japan and water.
I cannot leave Japan without visiting the gardens at the Kyoto Imperial Palace.
Finally, I visit the Heian Shrine gardens. Anywhere else this gardens would be the top attraction of the city, but in Kyoto are just one of several, but it is not less worth a visit for that.
And here it ends this trip around Japan. I am really tired after a month of so much walking and moving around. But I still have some energy left for a quick stop in Helsinki in my way home.
